On the software when I open up the capturing software (which is called studio importer if that makes any difference) the sound plays through it. which I assume is different from the usual Pinnacle studio provided in previous models. The software that it comes with is called Pinnacle Studio for Dazzle. Ok so i shouldve been a bit more specific with my situation.
